II've been using the latest release of Progecad since September last year, and am generally very pleased. It seems to do everything that Autocad can do, although I find it a bit slow to load - but that's probably more to do with my rather ancient desktop. Like with any software I have a number of small irritations, and they may be easily fixed anyway under "preferences", for example I just found out how to switch off what for me is the annoying dialogue that popped up if there were overlapping elements where I try to make a selection. What remains: Drawing no. 1, always seems to be there if I load Progecad before then opening the file I'm working on. After I finish and close, I'm always asked if I want to save changes to Drawing No. 1. Arrays seem to default to blocks, and the instruction "Array" doesn't bring up the dialog box, which, for me is the easiest way to set up an array. I have to go and hunt in Help, to find out how to access it. When I try to re-enter Progecad from my start bar, when I select the drawing I'm working on, it takes two or three attempts before the program re-appears. I don't have this problem with other programs on the taskbar. As you can see, these are just niggles. I really appreciate that you've sought feedback this way, instead of just asking for ratings on a series of criteria. Best regards, Keith
