User friendly software, unfortunately import field options are limited to 4 in chart of accounts with no parent account field for use of sub-accounts - chart of accounts has to be manually edited after import.

I find Prodgecad24 excellent. However, it has a few short comings as follows: 1. Slower to print pdf's that Autocad 2018 2. There is an issue displaying and printing imported OSI Maps 3. There is a limited number of windows and door designs to import in Easycad. It would be brilliant if I could design the windows and then import them into the drawing. These are small issues. I am very happy with ProdgeCAD 2024.

I find ProgeCAD a capable alternative to much more expensive alternatives. Price/performance ratio is simply excellent.

Similar to AutoCad which I was trained on however there seems to be an issue with snaps. Can be very jumpy when trying to snap especially when zoomed in. Other than that it suits my needs.

Having moved from Draftsight & NanoCAD, I've finally found a genuine AutoCAD replacement for the rare times I utilise CAD software. The software sells itself and with the perpetual license, is very good value for money. I'm a very happy customer.

I have been using ProgeCad for a while now and would never return to AutoCad! ProgeCad is not only affordable but what's most important is that it is available as a perpetual licence. I am an interior designer so I use Cad to draw floor plans and elevations for my clients and ProgeCad is just wonderful at that. AutoCad subscription is overpriced and not worth it in comparison to ProgeCad. I'm so delighted I finally have my perfect CAD software without breaking the bank. Having used autocad since the 80s with previous employers, and over the last 20 years as a self employed person, I was at the point where I have paid a small fortune on upgrades and new revisions. Therefore a little dubious about switching over to ProgCad. Surprisingly it works very well and I have had no issues using it. I am far from being fully conversant with it, but overall it does everything I want plus plus plus.

have issues running this on an MSI apache pro because the cursor movement is erratic. selecting items is about 1/3 rd the speed of AutoCAD. Additionally this refused to run on my computer in accelerated mode. It's brilliant as an AutoCAD alternative except for the above.

SketchUp is an essential part of our toolkit. It allows us to quickly visualise concepts and then flesh out the details. Adjustments are quick and easy. Bringing in external palettes, textures and materials is also a simple and effective process. We have clients and suppliers who also use SketchUp, ensuring straightforward communication throughout a design and build project.

We, here in ThinStone Ireland, have been using Quickbooks since 2018 and are very happy with the product. Provides plenty of pertinent data for future planning and for keeping a close eye on how the business is progressing.

Quickbooks is a very user friendly accounts package, which I've been using now for over 15 years. It's customisable, easy to use and it produces clear reports. Our auditor can log-in remotely and access the reports he/she requires, along with the invoices/receipts which I attach to each transaction. It makes our audit process more efficient. I would highly recommend Quickbooks to anyone looking for a user-friendly accounts package.

We switched over to Quickbooks online last May . We had some problems in the beginning concerning moving my books over really left out a lot of our records we needed, however the system itself is working quiet well I got good advise and help from the Quickbooks team and of course learned a lot of it from youtube . We used the Quickbooks Desktop version for years before we migrated to QB Online last year. Initially we had some issues with the migration but once that was sorted we were up and running. Sketchup 2023 is a fantastic intuitive design tool. I find it very easy to use and it helps me greatly to convey my cabinet design to my client. 3d warehouse has tons of modelled components which saves me valuable time. Yes does the job for me. Don't use it to its full potential - lack of time to train. My only issue is the railings to the stairs - nightmare to work and end up with railings that are sitting on the stairs correctly and even support has problems with it. otherwise Support is great, reply quickly and sort the issue.

I approached ProgeCAD a couple of years ago, with the clear intention of reducing the cost of my business without losing quality. And definitely, it worked out! ProgeCAD is an AutoCAD without the crazy cost and the 'unfair' subscription obligation. You can buy ProgeCAD, and the license stays with you forever, if you want to renew it you can if not you won't lose what you bought. Unfortunately, it cannot be said the same with AutoCAD. I highly recommend ProgeCAD, a great alternative to AutoCAD Full or Light.

I always use SketchUp for modelling my furniture designs. It is fantastic for creating initial sketch models to visualise ideas during the concept design stage. These can then be developed into presentation images to show clients and into production drawings once designs are finalised. I have been using Axonware for a number of years now for various software purchases and have always found them great to deal with.

Migrated after more than 20 years with Autocad. I am not a power user. I use it for schematics, room layouts and technical furniture using simple 3d drawings. I use attribute data extract for schematic details. It all works very well. It took me some timeto get used to the riibbons but the CLI is very familiar. Very happy with the change

Software generally very good. Tried to get some lisps to work but failed. A decent electrical schematic package add on would be good. Tried the ones that are existing but they ended up being very manumatic which I was having to do anyway.

I've been purchasing Sketchup Licences through Axonware for a number of years now, and have been more than happy with both the product and the service from Axonware. The product itself has a short learning curve, and once that's negotiated, it becomes very useful software indeed. I'm a big fan of Layout, which comes with the package, and the methods of presentation that it provides, are very useful.

Love the programme, have done for many years now, but having recently changed to a Mac, I can't believe how poor the alignment and support for Mac operating systems is. Basically, if you want to keep your OS updated, then you need to be running a 2 or 3 year old version of sketch up. I'm currently working on the basis of 2 bug splats per hour of use. On getting help from sketch up support, I was more or less told, "you have to go back a couple of versions of sketch up to be compatible with a modern Mac. SketchUp is an elegant tool for quickly designing buildings. I have used it for assessing the efficiency of a Photo-Voltaic-Power-Plant installed on a roof. After having the object placed and aligned with its geo coordinates I could show the effects of the PV modules being covered by shadows. This was done for the course of a day and also throughout the year with the sun being correctly placed with azimuth and altitude dependant upon date and time. A fantastic feature. I've been using ProgeCAD since 2020, coming from multi decades of being an AutoCAD user, lisp writer and although ProgeCAD does have some limitations on zoomed in line details ie lines may appear unstacked or unsnapped when they are actually stacked/snapped, on the whole its running at 99% of AutoCAD capabilities but at a tenth of the price, hence I won't be going back to AutoCAD! There is not enough profit margin in my line of work anymore to warrant the silly expense of AutoCAD. A number of years ago, after an extensive evaluation of .dwg alternatives, I switched to ProgeCAD Pro from AutoDesk AutoCad Lite because its cost had become prohibitive. Since then, the program has worked well and reliably. Any problems encountered have been dealt with by the excellent Technical Help office in Como, Italy using email with, normally, a quick response.

I am gradually "mastering" the relatively minor dissimilarities in addition to the highly effective improvements compared to AutoCAD. I am finding the software very useful and, for the cost, an absolute bargain in all honesty. You put Autodesk to shame in my view. It seems to do everything that Autocad can do, although I find it a bit slow to load - but that's probably more to do with my rather ancient desktop. Very similar to Autocad in many respects and for the price an excellent and affordable way to go if you need a comprehensive drawing package.

My first introduction to CAD using " Computervision" software followed by "Prime Medusa" and finally Autocad 12. Progecad provides all facilities required for 3D modelling along with some features which assist very well when associating with projects where Solidworks is involved and more recently when exporting to STL files for 3D printing. Finally, I am completely satisfied with Progecad and unlikely to revert back to Autocad

I just want to say that I've been using ProgeCAD for a few years now, and I have to say that I'm blown away by the sophistication and capability of the software. To be clear I haven't used or accessed all the functions and controls because I wouldn't describe myself as a "power user", but as general day to day CAD software it's faultless, and comparable with the best software out there. In addition, as one of the most competitively priced software packages in the market, you certainly get a lot of "bang for your buck".

I have used many cad products and found ProgeCad to be one of the easiest and powerful software for my design needs and at the price it cannot be beaten. When I have been stuck with an issue the help has been first class.

I am an occasional user of ProgeCAD, having spent many years using AutoCAD Lite. Whilst I'd become reasonably proficient at AutoCAD, I find ProgeCAD much harder to use, but if I spent a lot of time customising it, it might be better. It also seems a bit sluggish. So for me, as a fairly un-typical user I'd rate it 'medium' - I can get the job done, but it always feels like rather hard work.

I have had several versions of this program. The latest upgrade has introduced a bug. It does not release a selected item without multiple clicks on the esc button. It is all but unusable for efficient work.

I first learned AutoCAD back at version 12. We were fed up at the cost of AutoCAD, no shock, and so tried ProgeCAD. Seamless change over. A big plus was having the two copies. (only one to be used at a time, fair enough) So one on an office computer and one on a tablet I can take to site with me. At Redhouse Forge we design and make feature metalwork. So might be 3m tall stainless gates, or a vanity unit set in the wall or traditional wrought iron, but having the drawing there on site so I can point "this bit!" or make alterations while there can be very useful. First trained up and started using CAD in the 1980s when my employer installed huge Intergraph Workstations in the design department of the very large steelmaking company I worked for. As an experienced Revit user with an insistence for drawing accuracy and clean drawing production, making the transition to a more design focused CAD software from Autodesk Revit was initially jarring with regard to legacy functionality in Autodesk software. As someone who previously used 3D software like Revit and Sketch-Up I am very satisfied with how much more user friendly and easy it is to come up with results. The outcome of the 3Ds and line drawings are great. Learning this software has also been great with starting off with online tutorials to being able to ring the helpline with any outstanding modelling queries. In 2018 I was looking for cheap Cad program, when I came across ProgeCad 2018 which I have been using till now. If you have used AutoCad the interface in ProgeCad with few differance's, Is the same. You can buy, ProgeCad for under £500 and with a Perpetual liceance, unlike AutoCad which you have to subcribe. If you what to design Concord than use AutoCad, for us that live in the real world use ProgeCad. By using my ProgeCad 2018 key I have now upgraded to ProgeCad 2024 for under £200 and still can use ProgeCad 2018, try it you have nothing to lose. Andy styx.

Just dropping you a quick note to say how pleased I am with progeCad 2024. Found you on line and downloaded a demo while looking for an AutoCAD type program. Once i got round to trying it, I was straight on to my MD to get it purchased. Like everyone says its is great value for money especially for a smaller company like us. we can't justify the cost of an AutoCad licence, but a one off progeCAD licence gives me the ability to open all drawings sent in by customers, especially the STL / STEP files everyone seems to use now . It does everything I needed it to do and so much more. it really is a "no brainer" , can not recommend enough.

I have been struggling for several months to find a good alternative to Autocad. Nothing could compare to its functions and nothing could save me money. Until I found Progecad. It has all the same features as Autocad and it is easy to learn the applications. It has also saved me an absolute fortune in license fees, with a perpetual license. I am really grateful for that. I've been using ProgeCAD since release 2014 together with AutoCAD Building Design Suite 2013. ProgeCAD 2014 I found to be a great alternative to AutoCAD as it was a near seamless transition, It did have some drawbacks, one being that it did not have a 'Deselect All' command on the right click menu. I highlighted this to ProgeCAD support who I found to be very helpful in respondingresolving any issues I encountered. I upgraded from 2014 to 2016 and purchased a Network Licence allowing me to work at home and in the office without having to migrate licences. ProgeCAD is a super product, which has excellent functionality - perpertual licence for a fraction of other software - I would recommend highly. I have used it for over a year with zero issues.

Things have gone well... Progecad has been a solid replacement for Autocad offering as far as I can tell like for like functionality in a perpetual license package. Axonware have been responsive and helpful when install changes have been required.

Progecad is a nice alternative to autocad... and from what i can see it's functionally the same. Support from Axonware appears to be solid so all's well. With a perpetual license less than a year subscription with autocad... you can't go wrong!

Progecad is every bit as good as AutoCad and represents excellent value for money.

After using QuickBooks desktop for many years, I have long wished for extra features such as automatic downloading of bank details. Well now it's here. QuickBooks online automates everything right down to near real-time bank account transactions. And there are many other new features such as automatic learning of how you categorise items so that you can create rules that do a lot of the work for you in future transactions. I'd strongly recommend it and I'd also recommend the axonware team. Dan, in particular has been very helpful sorting out some of the minor glitches, which always happen when you're installing new software.

2022 version now installed, activated and working well. The floating text editor has gone but is replaced by an editor in the Ribbon which works well as long as you remember to activate the ruler. I took this opportunity to change from the CAD Classic command layout to the full Ribbon but then changed to Beginner Ribbon because I missed the drop down menus, especially under FILE. What I like is that ProgeCAD Pro provides these options. The iCare help system works well because you're in contact with a real human being and now I've got a screen video recorder installed, I can send a video of any problem I have and they will respond likewise with the solution. Sketchup was the first CAD software that I could class as "intuitive", of course there's lots to learn about good ways of working, and plenty of free tutorials out there which really do help.

I was looking for something to replace autocad due to what I regard as - Autodesk's outrageous behaviour - ceasing to issue activation codes for older copies of their software, even when it still works fine on windows 10 and was purchased on perpetual licence. I have been using iCADMac for a couple of years now and I find it covers all of my requirements for producing architectural drawings. if I ever do have any queries they are always answered promptly and efficiently. The software is easy to use and very similar to AutoCad settings. The developers are always wanting to improve too so the new version also looks tempting for an upgrade!

I downloaded this because I'd been sent a .dwg file by someone who had done some design work for me. It was the second thing I tried, because google suggested something else first that wouldn't even open the file. iCADMac installed easily & loaded the file with no problems. After a little bit of understanding the few bits I needed to look at the file, I found it easy & somewhat intuitive to use. Although my use of it is shallow, I think it's a good product & gave me exactly what I needed.

I got the company I work for to invest in a cad solution to replace AutoCAD LT. I found ProgeCAD 19. I had a look at other software but Progecad seemed to fit the bill. We got three licences and have issued to my colleges. I have many years of working with AutoCAD LT 2007 and found the transaction far more simple than I thought. The additional features are most welcome especially the pdf converter. My colleges are not conversant with #CAD but are picking up the basics very quickly. Excellent product with a permanent licence!

ProgeCad is a nice piece of software. I don't use it as my primary drawing software. But when I use it and for what I use it (among other convertion of PDF drawings to dwg/dxf), then it works perfectly for me. And then - it can minimum the same as AutoCad, if not more and is much cheaper. So I can only recommend ProgeCad as an alternative to AutoCad and similar, especially for small / one-man companies, like mine. For example for architects who has a one-man company I think it would be an advantage to use ProgeCad. Other than that, the service and support is also very good and friendly.

Overall ProgeCAD is a very good alternative to AutoCAD 2019 especially at the cost and the fact its a perpetual licence! Seems to be improving all the time, very familiar interface. Great for DWF to DWG conversions. Well done ProgeCAD.

An excellent alternative to a more well known drafting software program, of which I previously used the LT version of. I have found the migration to ProgeCAD to be a seamless experience, and other than slightly different icons and terminology (which are intuitive), I found I could use it straight off with no additional learning necessary. I have no regrets in my choice of this software, and have absolutely no hesitation in rating it with top marks.

Excellent Service very good product will use again

I moved to a new job in summer of 2017 and was very nervous that the company did not use AutoCad. I was amazed at how user friendly Archicad is and how easily I made the transition. Archicad takes a lot of work out of drawing as once you have your floor plans drawn it automatically generates your elevations and sections for you and should your floor plan change, No Problem! Everything changes with it. I would highly recommend any company to embrace 3D and choose Archicad as an alternative to other similar products on the market.

Archicad is a substantial and well developed BIM package. All the time spent learning the package properly and developing good templates will pay off later. The 3D aspect is really powerful. SketchUp might be great but it does not deliver 2 D drawings and does not change along with the project unless you update it separately. With Archicad you merge the 3D and 2D requirements

I upgraded to QuickBooks Pro 2018 recently. I had to contact the QuickBooks support team as I was adding a second user on a different PC. Although it took a bit longer than I was expecting to get it set up, there were some technical issues associated with my pc. In fairness to the guy from QuickBooks, he stuck with it until he got it working and was very pleasant and professional throughout. Very happy with my QuickBooks 2018 now.

I used Archicad 18 as a student and found it easy to work with, full of detail, a good library and not too hard on my laptop. The only down side was that there where no facilities for Archicad to render images on-line for free (during the student trial time) unlike Autodesk Revit- due to I didn't have a very good graphics card and processor for rendering in this software.

V.Good software Still getting to grips with it.

Used Archicad for my dissertation. In the process of completing this I constructed a model from one of the very intuitive Archicads Training volumes. I then did the same with another leading Architectural suite. My aim was to explore how the models preformed when being transferred between platforms. I found Archicad outperformed the other proprietary software. Boundless possibilities programme Five stars

Archicad was very useful and somewhat of a challenge to operate , not being a designer but a manager of BIM processes , it was a steep learning curve for me but I managed to produce useful project work and secure my Masters in BIM technology

I’m a student studying architectural technology and design, while ArchiCAD was complex to understand. Now that I have a handle on it, it truly works wonderfully and makes the design and technical process so much simpler. It’s certianly an all in one package!

As a regular AutoCAD user I moved to ProgeCAD when I started my own business. For my purposes the software offers everything I need and more, and represents exceptional value for money against the mainstream products. As a UK distributor Axonware have been very supportive throught the process and respond quickly in the event there are any issues. I recently experienced an issue arising from an incompatibilty of some of my resident system software and the issue was quickly resolved with Axonware's assistance to my compete satisfaction - this greatly minimised the downtime to my business activities. I liked the program a lot, very familiar layout, I use Autocad full version, and I felt quite at home with it. Imported a few files , worked on them and exported them back to Autocad seamlessly. I do quite a bit of work nowadays in 3D, who doesn't, and I personally find the Autocad on screen cube very useful, being able to keep track of where I am and switching to new coordinate systems on the fly with a few desktop clicks is crazy quick and has become part of my workflow. The absence of this in Progecad is a minus for me. In every other way I really like the program and on pricing, it just cant be beat. ProgeCad is the best software ever, it does everything we need for a small electrical manufacturer and more. The PDF Add-On functions are great, with lots of other features for such a low cost.

ProgeCAD has a revised layout with a few changes to the tool items. Once I got into them I was fine. I use the Classic format and that does everything I use CAD for. I have found over the years (switching from LT in 2010) that ProgeCAD is at least as good as LT. The order system with Axonware has provided very good service when ever any minor problems have occurred.

A good alternative CAD program at a reasonable cost!

This is a very cost effective alternative to AutoCad and I have used it for around 5 years now. As with all CAD software, it suffers isolated gliches (but certainly no more than AutoCad!) - overall it is very good to use. The staff at Axonware are also very responsive if any queries arise.

I would recommend it to colleagues and employers. I would probably give it a 5 simply because its a complete package but doesn't weigh my system down like autocad does.

I need to switch frequently between Mechanical Desktop R6 (AutoCAD 2002 based) and another similarly capable CAD with good command compatibility. I'm currently using ProgeCad 2009 to tutor a friend with no previous CAD expertise and he is picking it up well and enjoying it. ProgeCAD gets a big thumbs up from both a long time AutoCAD user and the new recruit to mechanical CAD. It is truly capable enough for professional use, easy for AutoCAD users and fits the hobbyist's and infrequent users pocket too.

It is 95% as capable as auto cad, and not as heavy. Only troubles have related to hatching and sensitivity of snaps, the latter I could probably sort out through settings.
